Pork Chops with Mushroom Cream Sauce

2 thick cut pork chops (8oz each)
1 container of mushrooms
3 cloves of garlic
3/4 cup of heavy whipping cream
3 stalks of green onions for garnish

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Season pork chop with salt, pepper on all sides
  • Heat skillet on medium/high heat and add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Cook pork chop on all sides for estimate 2 min per side or until browned. This would include sides/ends of pork chop as well. Once browned transfer pork chop to sheet pan and place in oven for 12 - 15 min or until internal temperature of pork chop reaches 150 degrees. Discard oil. Let pork rest for 5 min before serving.
